Ardgowan Bowling Club
In 2021, Ardgowan Bowling Club in Greenock, was awarded £5,500 for energy efficiency improvements to their clubhouse. The clubhouse is a hub of the local community both for sporting recreation, club functions and for community gatherings. The funds were donated to the SLCF by Barr Environmental Limited.
Ardgowan Tennis Club
In 2021, Ardgowan Tennis Club was awarded £30,000 towards the surfacing works to their all-weather tennis courts in Greenock, Inverclyde. Situated adjacent to the bowling greens of Ardgowan Bowling Club, the tennis courts are floodlit, allowing them to be used extensively throughout the year. The funds were donated to the SLCF by Barr Environmental Limited.
